Continuous commitment towards CSR initiatives
Kuwait City: Burgan Bank, amongst the leading banks in the state of Kuwait, reiterated its commitment towards the community by donating a cheque towards buying queuing machines for the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Clinic.
Burgan Bank is committed towards the development of the healthcare facilities in the country and recently rendered its support to Kuwait Association for Care of Children in Hospitals (KACCH).
Burgan Bank Chief Marketing Officer, Fadi Matar stated: "Contributing towards the development of healthcare facilities in the country has been part of Burgan Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility framework and Corporate Citizenship program, the Bank is happy to be a benefactor towards the clinic this year".
Adding further, Matar said: "Making a difference in the wider society is an ongoing activity at Burgan Bank. The Bank has been supporting various healthcare initiatives in both the public and the private sector."
It is interesting to note that, over the past Seven years, Burgan Bank's continual contributions have helped support the development of healthcare and pediatric facilities in over six hospitals which are part of the KACCH, often helping children and their families fund treatment and recovery from fatal illnesses. The Bank's support other numerous programs under its Corporate Social Responsibility framework avows its true values, commitment, dedication and belief in the importance of supporting the community and humanitarian causes.
