For the second successive year, BNP Paribas was acting as Lead Sponsor on IBC's conference: the 3rd Annual Syndicated Lending in the GCC taking place in Dubai on 3rd & 4th December 2007 and was also chairing the event.
In line with it's strong commitment to the region, BNP Paribas has arranged a number of important syndicated loan financings in all G.C.C. countries during 2007 which include transactions for ADNOC, Allana International, Boubyan Petrochemical Company, Damas, International Finance Company, Qatar Telecom, Saad Investments, Saad Trading and Tabreed.

The event was attended by companies based in the region across the broader corporate segment. Such corporates attended as both delegates and speakers where the latter group provided important information on their own experiences in terms of tapping the syndicated loan market for financing.
