Amman- By virtue of its partnership with Friends of Jordan Festivals (FJF), Bidaya Corporate Communications[r1] extended its support to the Amman Citadel Festival 2013. Under its capacity as the Festival's official communications consultant, Bidaya was responsible for handling all the Festival's PR needs and media exposure, and provided press conference management, press release development and distribution, media relations and media monitoring services, amongst others. The Festival's activities took place between 22nd August and 14th September, 2013, at the Citadel in Jabal Al Qala'a.

The Amman Citadel Festival featured a number of performances by Jordanian, Arab and international artists. Performers included global sensation Julio Iglesias, Arab musician Marcel Khalife, Egyptian artist Khaled Selim and The Choir of London. The Broadway show, The Sound of Music, ran for three consecutive nights and concluded the Festival. The Festival also showcased a joint performance by the Palestine Youth Orchestra and the Amman Symphony Orchestra, as well as a show by Jordanian singers Zain Awad and Hani Mitwassi accompanied by the Amman Arab Music Ensemble, in addition to an outstanding performance by Mohammed Assaf and Farah Yousef.
