Enter the magical world of timeless stories with the DreamWorks Animation Zone a part of the Hollywood-inspired theme park, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai located in Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region’s largest integrated theme park destination. The DreamWorks Animation Zone is a unique indoor-world of hysterical characters and heartwarming stories with four uniquely themed lands inspired by the blockbuster animated hits Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar and Shrek. Re-creating each film in their own uniquely themed ‘lands’, guests are welcomed by a majestic and multi-sensory fountain with sculptures of all the DreamWorks characters coming to life.
Shrek Land:
Step into the kingdom of Far Far Away and enjoy a brand new Shrek adventure where captivating story-telling and a good dose of Donkey’s cheekiness await. Guests can plunge into excitement and adventure their wildest dreams with the Shrek’s Merry Fairy Tale Journey which tells the tale of Shrek and Fiona’s beautiful love story. Another family friendly ride is Swamp Celebration where guests can rock, and glide inside a hallowed out tree trunk
How to Train Your Dragon Land: Immersing guests in a multi-sensory experience, complete with stunning sights, spectacular views and even subtle sounds is what this land is about. Guests will be able to begin their journey on the Swinging Viking ship set on a thrilling rogue adventure that will leaving guests feeling buoyant and off to sea. Visitors with young Vikings can experience Camp Viking an interactive, adventure play area amongst Viking ships featuring wet and dry areas. Finally, set amongst the Isles of Berk, the flagship ride Dragon Gliders a regional first, incorporating the best in new generation ride technology to bring a multi-sensory, action-packed adventure to guests.
Madagascar Land: If you are a thrill seeker there is plenty of excitement at Madagascar land. Madagascar, Mad Pursuit the fastest rollercoaster in the will take guests on a mad chase through the circus alongside the Zoosters along with Penguin Air where kids can manoeuvre their own aircraft gliders and Melman Go-Round – a whimsical and colourful carousel. Also playing is two live shows, Operation Penguin Shake inside King Julien’s Sideshow Café restaurant and King Julien’s Sideshow Stomp a full dance show. The exhilarating Green Hornet High Speed chase awaits you. Climb aboard this rollercoaster and careen through full of thrills and dizzying leaps.
Kung Fu Panda Land: Guests can climb aboard a rollicking crazy adventure on a state-of-the-art 4D simulator with the Unstoppable Awesomeness Ride. For a more classic experience Mr. Ping’s Noodle Fling find a whirling, twirling tea cup ride where the rider is in charge for how fast they would like to go. Kids and families can learn the art of kung fu from Master Po himself in an interactive show at Kung Fu Academy
