Supporting Charity in the Kingdom
Batelco, Bahrain's leading telecommunications provider, has presented two high value mobile phones to Bahrain Caledonian Society, to support their charity fundraising efforts in the Kingdom.
Batelco Public Relations Specialist Madeleine Doporto presented the phones to Bahrain Caledonian Society representative Tom Bell at a meeting at Batelco's Hamala Headquarters. The phones will be raffled at the Society's St. Andrew's Day ball on Thursday (29th November) with the proceeds from ticket sales being distributed to a variety of local charities.
"We are delighted to assist the Caledonian Society in their efforts to support many of Bahrain's worthy charitable causes," said Batelco's Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi, who attended the meeting.
The prize donation forms part of Batelco's annual social responsibility programme, which aims to help those who need it most. The Company's donations & sponsorship commitment is in the region of BD5 million this year.
