Balubaid Automotive Limited Co., one of the leading General Motors and Peugeot dealers in Saudi Arabia., member of the Balubaid Group, celebrated the receipt of ISO 9001:2000 certificate from Bureau VERITAS, One of the independent certification bodies using the accredition certificate number 008 of UKAS Quality Management
On this occasion, Balubaid held a ceremony in Radisson SAS Royal Suites hotel in Jeddah. The ceremony attended by Sheikh Khalid Balubaid, Executive Vice President of Balubaid Group, Sheikh Ahmed Balubaid, Senior Vice President for automotives division, delegation from Bureau VERITAS, Balubaid top management and Balubaid automotive dept heads and Balubaid ISO Steering Committee & ISO Task Team Members.
ISO 9001:2000 certificate is the Balubaid Automotives first milestone achievement in heading towards the business excellence TQM model over next five years. Balubaid Automotive is the one of the few Automotive dealers of General Motors and Peugeot to receive ISO 9001:2000 Certificate in Saudi Arabia from Bureau VERITAS.
Balubaid qualified for this certificate through the adoption of a quality management system that is in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000. In this framework, Balubaid Automotive established a quality management system with all of its regularity, organizational and documentary requirements to get the ISO 9001:2000 certificate. Balubaid puts all of its resources for the ongoing continual improvement of performance to meet the requirement of the quality management system which includes the eight management principles in the company and goes in line with the common quality policy of Balubaid Group of companies
These principles include: focusing on customer's current and future needs, focusing on leadership to achieve objectives and targets, involvement with clients, activation of methods and processes to achieve more efficient results when the resources and activities are put as working tools, establishment of an interrelated process between the group to achieve the goals, ongoing improvement of performance, factual approach for decision-making and the creation of a mutual beneficial relationship between Balubaid and their suppliers to enhance capabilities of both parties.
Simultaneously, the automotive section of Omar A. Balubaid Ltd. Co., is committed to provide quality products and services with added value that meet or exceed the expectations of customers with the monitoring of clients' satisfaction and suppliers' performance. They also provide professional training to the staff to improve their administrative and technical skills.
