Bahrain Financial Exchange Wins Top Forex Product Award

The BFX wins the 'Most Innovative Forex Product Award 2012' at the 7th Jordan Forex Expo & Award (JFEX) 2012

Manama, Bahrain - 14^th May 2012: The Bahrain Financial Exchange (BFX), the first multi-asset international financial exchange in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, proudly announces winning the 'Best Innovative Forex Product Award 2012' at the 7^th Jordan Forex Expo & Awards in Amman, Jordan on the 8^th of May 2012.

The award was accorded to the BFX's unique and innovative currency futures product the "BFX US Dollar versus Indian Rupee (USD-INR) Index Futures", which is the world's first derivatives product on the USD-INR currency pair that is traded like an Index.

The award was announced at the evening gala reception of the 7^th Jordan Forex Expo & Awards that took place at the Intercontinental Hotel Amman on the 8^th of May 2012. Mr. Arshad Khan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the BFX and the BFX Clearing and Depository Corporation (BCDC) commented: "We are proud to be presented with the 'Most Innovative Forex Product 2012" award, our strategy is driven by introducing and promoting innovative products and services to the market.
