Prince Alwaleed & Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz Inaugurate Housing Project in Aseer, & Hand Documents to Recipients

HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation, visited Aseer Province, accompanied by a delegation that included Sheikh Ali Al Nashwan, Religious Advisor to HRH, Mr. Hassan Mukhtar, HRH Personal Affairs Manager, Mr. Fahad AlOfy, Executive Assistant to HRH the Chairman, to inaugurate the charitable housing units on Sunday, April 18th 2009. Upon his arrival Prince Alwaleed was received by HRH Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer. The project was fully funded by Alwaleed bin Talal Foundation to provide 200 housing units in Alqirah.

His Highness's visit began with a ceremony under the patronage of HRH  Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, where housing units' documents were given to the respective individuals. Moreover during the ceremony, there was reciting of poetry and a speech given by Sheikh Ali Al Nashwan clarifying that the development of Prince Alwaleed's Iskan projects for the poor was in response to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah's initiative. Prince Faisal bin Khalid commended Prince Alwaleed on his humanitarian efforts across all regions in Saudi Arabia.

In conclusion to the visit, Prince Alwaleed headed to Abha airport to depart back to Riyadh with the accompanying delegation, where he thanked Prince Faisal bin Khalid for the hospitality and expressed his keen interest in further exploring possible investment and development opportunities in Aseer.

HRH had inaugurated multiple housing projects in the many different regions  of Saudi Arabia.
