Al Sarayrah: APC thanks PotashCorp for their effective contribution to production, safety, sales and opening international markets
Amman, December 2012 - Arab Potash Company (APC) Chairman H.E. Jamal Al Sarayrah addressed a letter to APC's employees congratulating them on the realization of 80% of the Company's goals in 2012. In his letter, H.E. Al Sarayrah described 2012 as a year full of challenges, particularly due to the drop in global demand for potash. APC also issued an employee bonus that amounted to 2.24 times their respective monthly salaries, as well as a onetime payment of JD 400 to all APC's daily laborers.
APC grants incentive bonuses to Company employees based on performance indicators, production levels and general safety. Commenting on this step, H.E. Al Sarayrah thanked all APC staff members for their outstanding performance this year which earned them the bonus. He went on to say that this gesture is aimed at motivating APC employees to exert greater efforts in upcoming years so that the Company would subsequently fulfill its goal of bolstering production levels, maintaining general safety standards and preserving the environment.
H.E. Al Sarayrah also thanked APC's strategic partner PotashCorp for its invaluable efforts in supporting the Company on all fronts and enabling APC to achieve these exceptional results.
