Dubai - Anchor Food Professionals, a leading dairy foodservice supplier of the Middle East, will use its debut at Gulfood 2017 to show how it helps customers keep pace with rapidly evolving consumer trends and stay ahead of the competition.
Anchor Food Professionals, the foodservice business of Fonterra, will demonstrate how its fit-for-purpose foodservice solutions can facilitate exciting new menu options, enhance flavour, improve front-of-house presentation, and deliver back-of-house cost savings through increased yield and reduced wastage – during the globally-respected food and beverage exhibition, which runs at Dubai World Trade Centre from 26 February to 2 March.
Anchor Food Professionals’ innovative range of dairy products and services will enhance the company’s leading position in the Middle East where its team of in-house advisory chefs work alongside customers to support their business growth – key to helping the Middle East foodservice industry meet growing demand for high quality dairy and capture growth in the business of food.
Alastair Bruce, General Manager, GCC for Anchor Food Professionals, said: “The Middle East is a dynamic region where many international players are expanding and experimenting with new concepts, especially cuisine inspired by Western cultures or distinctive local offerings. With rising incomes and growth of out-of-home dining expanding the regional foodservice industry, operators are increasingly seeking premium dairy solutions to meet demand for excellence, convenience, great taste but at the same time, economic viability.
“To meet evolving consumer needs and preferences, the Anchor Food Professionals team is committed to adding value to our customers’ products and processes with ongoing innovation and a solution-based selling model that helps customers stay ahead of the competition.
“One of the new products we are showcasing at Gulfood is Extra Stretch Shredded Mozarella Cheese, a 100 per cent mozzarella with outstanding stretch that reduces waste and is individually frozen to lock in freshness and quality.”
To highlight the creativity and expertise of its team and demonstrate why it is a global leader in the foodservice industry, Anchor Food Professionals will showcase its latest product innovations to delegates at Gulfood.
The latest fit-for-purpose products will be available for sampling, including Lamination Butter Sheets, which are made from New Zealand pasteurised cream, and allow for easy rolling, fast tempering and excellent workability to deliver crisp, flaky croissants; a new Extra Yield Cooking Cream pre-reduced to deliver maximum yield per pack and deliver the same consistency serve after serve; and the innovative Extra Whipping Cream product that delivers 25 per cent more volume and is not easily over-whipped.
While Gulfood 2017 marks Anchor Food Professionals’ trade show debut in the Middle East, the company’s commitment to supporting food and beverage (F&B) customers with high-quality products and solutions has already established the firm as one of the major foodservice providers in the region.
Bruce said: “Our Anchor Food Professionals business continues to go from strength-to-strength, achieving double digit volume growth for the past two years across Oceania, Asia and the Middle East. Gulfood 2017 is a great opportunity for us to get closer to our customers and continue demonstrating commitment to helping them thrive.”
“One of the key channels in the Middle East region we’re focused on for future growth is what we term “Italian Kitchen” due to the huge pizza market,” added Bruce. “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are some of the largest pizza markets across the Asia and the Middle East Africa and there is tremendous potential for growth.”
