Since its incorporation in 1979, AMSI (Academia Management Solutions International) played a pioneering role in revolutionising the conventional classroom educational system in UAE with recognized & distinguished bold new concepts. Managing some of the leading schools, AMSI is today a leader in ICT integrated education in the Middle East. AMSI is a Silver Sponsor for the MIT's Fourth Annual Conference of Learning International Networks Consortium (LINC) scheduled, for the first time outside the USA, at Dubai from 31st October to 1st November 2007.

MIT's LINC is a consortium of educators from around the world who are interested in using distance and e-learning technologies to help their respective countries increase access to quality education, particularly high school and university education, for a larger percentage of the population. The conference focuses on the theme - "Technology-Enabled Education: A Catalyst for Positive Change".

With over six years of immense experience in ICT integrated education in the Middle East, AMSI has substantial expertise to share with its fellow educators and academicians during the conference. Representing AMSI at MIT-LINC will be Mr. Adonis Nasr, CEO of AMSI. An authority to discuss the subject,
Mr. Nasr who is chosen as one of the plenary speakers at the conference will be speaking on the topic "AMSI's Advanced Classrooms: Emphasizing the Human Aspect".

While commenting on the advancement of AMSI, Mr. Nasr said "When it comes to IT enabled learning, many of the leading names in education in Dubai as well as in the entire Middle East are standing where we stood six years ago. We have moved on further from the implementation stage, and are now engaged in creating a parallel educational system, as the integration of technology is only an additional tool of delivery."

According to Mr. Nasr, "In the turbulent dynamics of change, the most essential questions are:  how to continue to motivate and ignite student curiosity in a data abundant environment, and how to increase the challenge on their intellect to explore their potential?" He adds, "At AMSI, we believe that the extent of adoption of the digital capabilities into the standard classroom shall itself become the new standard by which we measure our adherence to the essence of our common vocation."

Besides following the curriculum, AMSI imparts pre-university courses training for its students, thus preparing students to choose and identify their area of interest. AMSI manages Al Mawakeb Schools in Al Barsha and Garhoud, the International School of Arts & Sciences (ISAS) - Al Warqa, Dubai and the International School of Al-Koura Lebanon. Al Mawakeb Schools in Dubai are the pioneer in the UAE to launch this IT enabled learning technology. Besides this hi-tech learning system, AMSI also pays attention in encouraging its student's creative skills and inculcating social awareness.
