Dubai, UAE - 20 April 2006:  Amana Contracting and Steel Buildings, a regional leader in fast track, turnkey construction of commercial and industrial facilities today announced a 38 percent revenue growth in 2005.  With over 1500 buildings constructed across the region, Amana's business has doubled in size every two and a half years since operations began in 1993.

Commenting on Amana's success and continued growth, Chebel Bsaibes, Chief Executive Officer said: "Amana's specialty is in providing comprehensive design-build solutions from conception through construction and completion.  Our success is the direct result of employing a regional design-build contractor concept with a decentralized model.  This means actively involving our design engineers so the sales team ensures delivery of custom designed and cost-effective solutions to our clients."

In just the first quarter of 2006, Amana has undertaken construction in excess of 90,000 square meters of buildings across the Gulf region.  The company forecasts its growth trend to continue, particularly as it expands into strategic markets like Kuwait and industry sectors such as airports, aviation facilities and manufacturing plants.

Amana has a strong track record in working with major multinational companies including leaders in the automotive, oil & gas, logistics, food processing and FMCG industries.  The company boasts a high profile client portfolio that includes:  General Motors, Dubai Ports Authority, ADNOC, Schlumberger, Al Futtaim Motors, PWC and Del Monte Foods.

"We are confident Amana will maintain its steady revenue growth as there is tremendous demand for turnkey industrial and commercial construction and we have built a solid reputation across the region for delivering projects on time, within budget and with quality requirements," added Mr. Bsaibes.

Building on the company's steady growth in 2005, Amana is also diversifying its expertise and construction services through strategic partnerships with like-minded global industry leaders, such as the US contractor Waldbridge Aldinger.  With a history spanning nearly 100 years, Waldbridge Aldinger has established itself as a leading contractor in constructing facilities for the automotive industry, manufacturing plants, waste water treatment facilities, airports and aviation facilities.
