Solution to benefit over 1300 agents in the country through providing learning content in the online self-service portal
Doha, Qatar, 18 March, 2012: Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, today announced the launch of the Amadeus e-Support Centre to provide travel agents in Qatar with access to a wide range of learning content online.
Amadeus e-Support Centre is developed as an easy-to-search site that meets varying learning and technical support needs. Originally launched in 2008 to provide 24/7 access to Amadeus support services, the portal is now available in six languages and hosts over 50,000 registered travel agency users in more than 50 markets worldwide.
Wafiq al Wahidi, General Manager, Amadeus Qatar, said: "Online self-service and search technologies have become an integral part of the travel experience necessitating further enhancement of the customer service experience. The Amadeus e-Support Centre provides round-the-clock access to a wide range of support materials. The launch of the solution underscores our commitment to consistently develop new solutions that benefit travel agents and equip them with tools to better serve their respective customers."
Presenting all content in one site, the e-Support Centre enables agents to seek assistance through browsing solutions and searching for cryptic entries or error messages. In addition, the 'how to' and troubleshooting solutions, as well as self-service tools and online log cases are also accessible.
Complete with learning content including 'User and Product Guides', 'Quick Cards', 'Course Guides', as well as 'Technical Manuals and Videos', the e-Support Centre allows agents to browse and search for learning materials, access the Amadeus training catalogue, and enroll for courses. In addition, the portal features 'show me' videos on key topics specifically developed to maximize knowledge retention.
