Almarai, the region's largest dairy producer, is continuing to promote healthy living to the people of Bahrain by continuing its sponsorship of a series of health seminars which will give advice directly to the public. Bahrain's highly respected Dr Amal A Rahman Al Jowder was the guest speaker at the first seminar at Al Noor Lil Bar Society in West Riffa on Saturday 11 June 2005.
Sh. Lamia Bint Mohmmed Al Khalifa, President of Al Noor Charity Welfare, Sh. Lulua Bint Al Khalifa, Vice President of Al Noor Charity Welfare and Sh. Hayam Bint Abdulla Al Khalifa, Head of Culture Organisation, attended the seminar with over 30 members from Al Noor Lil Bar Society.
Sh. Lamia Bint Mohmmed Al Khalifa said "This is a great opportunity for all of us to have the chance to learn more about healthy eating and lifestyles. I appreciate Almarai's efforts to promote healthy living to the people of Bahrain and would like to thank Dr Amal for her very interesting and helpful lecture".
Almarai's health campaign aims to highlight the importance of healthy eating and lifestyle to Bahrain's public and looks at today's eating habits, offering advice on healthy meals and nutritious choices.
Almarai's Marketing Manager, John O'Kelly, said: "Almarai are continually looking at ways of helping the community. If we can give the right advice to help children and adults to lead a healthier lifestyle, then we can work together for a healthier Bahrain.
