The month-long campaign offers free service with the aim to promote safety and regular maintenance and after care for sport boats and OBMs
Dubai, February 3, 2015: Aiming to ensure the safety of sport boat users and the large fishermen community in the UAE, Al Yousuf Motors has launched its annual service campaign in collaboration with Yamaha. The month-long campaign will provide free service to sport boats and Outboard Motors (OBM) across the emirates.
The campaign will focus on sport boat during the first leg between February 1-9, 2015 and OBMs from February 14 - March 3, 2015. The campaign, which is in its twenty fifth year for OBM servicing, has introduced free service for sport boats for the first time this year.
The one-of-its-kind free service campaign is aimed at ensuring safety of users of sports boats and OBMs including fishermen, seamen, sailors and sailing enthusiasts by promoting timely check-up of the vehicles to avoid untoward incidents.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Eqbal Al Yousuf, President - Al Yousuf Group said, "Sport boats have become a widespread trend. However, safety of these vehicles is a concern in this region as more people can afford to own the likes of sport boats, while only some realize the dangers involved if the vehicles are not looked after correctly. This is why, we are also focusing on sports boats this year for the first time, with the aim to promote safety on the shores."

The service campaign is running across the UAE through the month. The sports boats will be serviced in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from February 1 - 7, 2015. The campaign will move on to Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah on February 8, 2015 and Ajman on February 9, 2015.
The OBM services will be conducted in Sharjah on February 14 - 15, 2015, in Ajman on February 16, 2015, in Umm Al Quwain on February 17, 2015, in Abu Dhabi on February 18 - 19, 2015, in Ras Al Khaimah on February 21 - 23, 2015, in Dubai on February 24 - 26, 2015 and in Fujairah on February 28 - March 3, 2015.
In an effort to create awareness about possible vehicle fault hazards Al Yousuf Motors will have direct customer-to-expert sessions to help with possible queries and concerns that customers may have. The service campaign will look at providing complete free vehicle check-up including change of spark plug and engine oil, inspection sheet and sea trial.
From high-end customers to fishermen, Al Yousuf Motor's initiative is aiming to provide not only safety but an insight into maintenance and after care for sport boats and boats using OBMs.
