Doha, Qatar - In efforts to deepen the learning experience among Arab Children, Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC), the first Pan Arabic edutainment channel, presents "Caillou's Big Book Club" at the Dubai Creek Park Amphitheater from 15 to 21 of March 2007.

The 7-day event will show a total of 13 performances in English, 28 episodes of 'Caillou' TV series produced by and exclusively shown on JCC. As for French speaking Children, the play will be presented in the French language on Friday 16th of March.   

The innovative children play of "Caillou's Big Book Club" highlights the benefits and joy of reading. It also encourages friendship between children of different races and cultural backgrounds. In parallel, the play provides children with a blend of songs and a plethora of edutainment activities.    

A community fun time event of edutainment activities is scheduled on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th; following Caillou's performance; brought to kids in cooperation with SCENEZ GROUP. Prizes for participants will be given out from JUST KIDDING.

"Caillou's Big Book Club" is brought in cooperation with UAE's family magazine AHALI, Kalimat Group International.

Al Jazeera Children's Channel
Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC), a Pan Arabic edutainment channel, was launched in September 2005. Through its unique concept and a range of own produced educational programmes, JCC opens up avenues for Arab Children to learn about different environments and cultures, as well as encourage them to learn and seek knowledge.

JCC is a free to air TV channel on Arabsat, Nilesat, and Hotbird reaching all Arab countries and Europe.
