Dubai, 17 December 2007: Al Ghurair City will celebrate this Eid by offering visitors an insight into Arabic hospitality, art and culture.
Visitors to the family mall during the festive period will be treated to an assortment of Arabic tradition when they are served kahwa, or coffee, dates and baklawas, or sweets.
Shoppers will also get an opportunity to meet an Arabic calligrapher and get their names sketched in Arabic, as part of the activities to highlight Arabic art and culture. Shoppers can meet the calligrapher from 6pm to 10pm on Wednesday, December 19 to Saturday, December 22.
Mukta Sabharwal, Events & PR Coordinator, said:" Arabic art and hospitality is intrinsic to the cultural and social fabric of Al Ghurair City. We welcome all our visitors to join us in celebrating Eid in a truly traditional manner. As Eid is a time when families come together, Al Ghurair City is preparing to cope with the large number of families who are expected to spend more time at the mall during this period. The Eid celebrations cap a year of diverse programme of colourful activities and events that were staged at Al Ghurair City".
