AISCO Group of Companies to participate at MENA Investors Summit 2009

Dubai, October 31^st, 2009 – naseba is hosting AISCO Group of Companies as a sponsor for the MENA Investors Summit 2009, taking place on November 1^st to 2^nd, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel, in the Kingdom Center, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (www.menainvestors.com).

In partnership with MENA’s largest sovereign wealth funds, leading family offices and the biggest private equity companies in the world, MENA Investors Summit is the first ever investor focused capital-raising, deal flow initiative in the MENA region.

One of the supporters of the Summit is AISCO Group of Companies. The company was established in Aden Free Zone, Republic of Yemen in the year 2005 to take advantage of the Government of Yemen’s liberal industrial policy, to create job opportunities for the local talented manpower and fulfill the aspirations of 25 Million Yemeni people to move to self reliance by utilizing local resources to minimize imports in to the country. Today AISCO is producing 100,000 tons/annum of re-bars, industrial and medical gases, high purity gases, refrigerant gases, meeting frozen food requirements and generating 28MW of power to meet internal as well as of the nearby industries demand.

AISCO has been granted license to develop an industrial park in the Free Zone, Aden to provide, 150 ready- to occupy industrial sheds to benefit young entrepreneurs. The project outlay being over USD130 million will be implemented in three phases between 2010 and 2013. Once operational, the industrial estate will not only generate employment opportunities but contribute considerably towards the Yemeni GDP.

AISCO will be presenting the project of the industrial park during the MENA Investors Summit on 1^st and 2^nd of November in Riyadh.
