Famous Nasheed singer to delight crowd with Islamic songs
Sharjah: Qanat Al Qasba will reverberate with the melodious voice of Ahmed Bukhatir, famous singer of Nasheed (Islamic songs) on March 30. Held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and organised by Qanat Al Qasba and Insight Group Arabia, the Ahmed Bukhatir Charity Concert will begin at 8.30pm at the Al Qasba Outdoor stage. The proceeds of the concert will go to the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.
Bukhatir is famous for his melodious songs and draws huge crowds at similar concerts held all over the world. Tickets for the event priced at Dh50 and Dh100 will be available at Qanat Al Qasba, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Sharjah Cooperative Society (Halwan and Al Reqah branches) and Roly Videos (Al Falah plaza - Abu Dhabi).
Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority said, "Qanat Al Qasba marks yet another landmark event in the Islamic forum with the Ahmed Bukhatir Charity Concert this month. It is with great pleasure that we extend our welcome to this famous personage at QAQ.
"It is indeed remarkable that such talent is put to such great use where Bukhatir attempts to wipe out the misconceptions about Islam and helps bring to light the many wonderful facets that makes this faith a truly peaceful and complete one, he said.
Bukhatir was born in Sharjah where he studied and lived all his life. He started singing in 1989 and his albums reached worldwide fame within a short period of time, thanks to his combination of his melodic voice, beautiful lyrics of his songs. Ahmed Bukhatir chanting excludes all kind of music, and the complete background effects are achieved by human voices mixed together with some recording effects such as reverb and echo.
With a goal to spread the word of Islam to the entire world through the meaningful words and soothing melody of his songs, Bukhatir continues to perform in the UAE as well as other countries including Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Kuwait among others.
