Manama, Arabian Gulf University: The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) President Dr Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al Ohaly recently announced the new editorial board members of the University's scientific research magazine, headed by the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies (CGS) Dr Soud AlMahamid as Editor-in-Chief.

The President's decision also named Dr Moiz Bakhiet, Dr Diaa Rizk, Dr Wael Elmoslimany, Dr Alaaeldin Ayoub, Dr Mohammed Shahid, Dr Abdulnasser Al Jarrah, Dr Merwan Hosni, Dr Waheeb Al Nasser, Dr Noureddine BenKhalaf and Dr Fatima Al Jassim as the new editorial board members of the magazine.

On the occasion, Dr AlMahamid expressed gratitude and appreciation to Dr Al Ohaly for his continuous support to scientific research and faculty members, and providing them with an incubating and encouraging academic environment for scientific research.

The new Editor-in -Chief further stated: "At AGU, we constantly strive to be a distinguished academic and research centre to address the concerns of GCC countries. Therefore, the University gives priority to research that is concerned with developing innovative solutions to health problems facing GCC citizens."

It is noteworthy that AGU's scientific research magazine is among the prestigious periodic publications that is distinguished by the persistence in the succession of issuance and widespread at the level of the GCC and the Arab world, and it continually expands the base of its subscribers worldwide.

The magazine aims to fulfil the publishing concerns of university professors, as well as to contribute to the advancement of scientific research to serve the local and regional community for its firm desire to publish original and innovative research documented by arbitration of scholars and scientists from around the world.

Additionally, the magazine is interested in publishing research and studies in the fields of applied and agricultural sciences, in addition to environmental studies and in technology, in line with most of the academic disciplines offered at AGU.
