ALEXANDRIA: HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that the world is now on the verge of an astronomical era of knowledge as a result of the quantum leap in the knowledge industry.

During his speech at the 17th International Conference organized by the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Alexandria entitled “Entrepreneurship for Enhancing Competitiveness of Arab Organizations in the Knowledge Economy”, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh added that, as the CEO of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.GLOBAL),  he believes that the success of his group and its global leadership in the intellectual property industry mainly come as a result of its interest in information technology and investing therein.

Moreover, the conference was jointly organized by the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) of the Arab League as it was chaired by HE Ambassador Mohamad Al Rabie, and under the patronage of HE Eng. Amr Nassar, Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Essam El-Kurdi, President of Alexandria University, and with the presence of Eng. Farag Amer, Member of the Egyptian Parliament and the Chairman of the Industry Committee.

In his speech, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh explained that throughout both his career and life, he has found that the best blessing is in facing and overcoming tough challenges, which forms the basis for his books entitled “Blankets Become Jackets and Selected Stories of A Life Blessed by Suffering”, and “The Brave Knowledge World” which is the latest of his writings.
