3 June, Abu Dhabi, UAE: In its continuous efforts in providing state of the art facilities and services at its airports, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) announced today the re-opening of the entrance and exit from T1 Car Park to Terminal 1. This milestone is part of the final stage of the Terminal 1 refurbishment project geared towards delivering world class facilities to all passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

All passengers arriving to Abu Dhabi international Airport will again be able to use the entrance and exit from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Car Parks. All those coming to the airport to meet their arrivals or drop off their departures can choose to park in any of the airport car parks and then proceed to the lower level entrances of Terminal 1 or 3.

This announcement comes short of two weeks after ADAC has announced the closure of this passage, and commenting on this expedited work Eng. Ahmad Al Haddabi, Senior Vice President Airports Operations at ADAC, said:

"I would like first to thank all teams who have worked day and night for the past ten days to deliver this proud result, and to ensure that our passengers journey is the least disturbed. Because of these committed efforts, ADAC is enabled to welcome summer travelers at Abu Dhabi International Airport with state of the art facilities from start to finish, delivering, as promised, a unique travel experience."

ADAC has been working on several development projects to improve its infrastructure and services; including the introduction of the multi-storey air-conditioned Skypark car park, underground passenger tunnels with direct access to the terminals, several international restaurants, car rental companies, and banking services.
