"We are proud of the results our teams have achieved and the recognition we received through these awards. We look forward to break our records in the next edition of the Games." added Eng. Al Ameri.
Following the success of the first event back in 2012 and held once again under the esteemed patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Abu Dhabi Corporate Games will return even bigger and better this year. The three day event kicks off on the weekend commencing 12th of December carrying on until the 14th of December 2013.
Abu Dhabi Corporate Games in its second edition is set to unlock new milestones targeting over 3,500 people, awarding 1050 medals, attracting 100 companies to take part in 18 different sports with the addition of two more sports the adrenaline rushing "paintball" and the game of kings "chess". The exciting games will take place at three different venues with Al Forsan International Sports Resort being this year's main event venue. The remaining venues include Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Cricket Club.
It is worth mentioning that the event earned great popularity in a record breaking time which was reflected earlier this year when Abu Dhabi Corporate Games proudly scooped the Gold Award in the Best Sport Event (Amateur) category at the first Sport Industry Awards (SPIA) and most recently receiving the Best Sporting Event Award at the Middle East Event Awards 2013.
"We are very excited to present the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Corporate Games and we call upon all the organizations across the UAE to sign up their employees for the ultimate team building opportunity and take part in a weekend packed with thrilling sports and networking opportunities" concluded Marcout.
