(Amman) Mrs. Abeer Qumsieh, founder and director of Better Business, a specialized Jordanian consultancy firm focused on building a vibrant service cultures, has recently received the Excellent Professional Leader Award from the Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW) Award, at the Gala Dinner of the XXVII BPW International Congress that took place on the 20th of June in Helsinki, Finland. Mrs. Qumsieh is the first Arab woman to win the award from such an internationally renowned organization in recognition of her success and leadership.
The BPW International Award is meant to document and give recognition to the value of leadership, influence and work of the BPW affiliates worldwide. Three of the members are recognized and they are selected based on their leadership, success of their business and professions; additionally, it counts when the winner has a significant positive impact in their field of expertise reflecting on their communities and/or a corporation.
Expressing her appreciation for receiving the Award, Mrs. Qumsieh said "I am truly honored to be among these amazing and successful women. This is a real breakthrough for all working women; particularly those in the Arab region, which shows that hard work and dedication won't be overlooked"
