TUNIS - Foreign Minister Kamel Morjane conferred here this morning with Secretary to Arab affairs of Libya's General People's Committee in charge of external communication and international cooperation Omrane Boukraa.
Talks allowed discussing the process of bilateral cooperation and means to boost it for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples' interests, in accordance with the strong political will of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and his brother Leader Mouammar Kadhafi to raise Tunisian-Libyan relations to the highest levels.
In this context, they followed up the implementation of a series of decisions made at the 22nd session of the higher joint committee held in Tripoli on December 12-13, 2009, and reviewed the next bilateral events including in particular the half-yearly meeting and the 23rd session of the high executive committee scheduled in Tunis, as well as the 8th session of the consular affairs commission due to be held in Tripoli at the end of next October.
The meeting also turned on Arab issues of mutual interest.
