GAMMARTH - Tourism minister Slim Tlatli stressed, on Wednesday in Gammarth, during the inauguration of "Movenpick Hotel" (MHR) the importance of developing Tunisia's hotel trade, to reinforce the national tourist product's added-value and help it have access to new outlets.

Gammarth "Movenpick Hotel," a five-star hotel meant for business and top-of-the-range tourism, is a Tunisian-Kuwaiti Development Group's second unit which opens this year, following Sousse's Movenpick Resorts and Marine Spa's, last March.

Mr. Tlatli underscored that the project is yet another evidence of the strong ties binding Tunisia and Kuwait and their important bilateral co-operation in all economic sectors, notably in tourism.

The minister, in this regard, emphasised his department's will to grant the required assistance and support to achieving the various investment projects in tourism.

The Tunisian-Kuwaiti Development Group plans to carry on investing in hotel trade in the region of North Africa and in Tunisia, a country whose natural sites and stability attract visitors.

It's worth reminding that MHR Group is implanted in 26 countries across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
