TUNIS - Tunis-Carthage Airport is leader of all African airports, according to a survey conducted by a specialised website "sleepinginairports.net" on the best airports the world over.

This survey, made public on "Leaders.com.tn" website, characterises Tunis-Carthage Airport as "clean, constantly refurbished, with well maintained and calm spaces," specifying that "you could wait in total safety for your flight, while eating or relaxing."

It is worth pointing out that the network of Tunisian airports has been constantly provided with the needed amenities of modern life. And the new airport in Enfidha is the best illustration of that. Even, airports of lesser importance, such as those of Sfax, Gabès, Tabarka, Djerba and Monastir, are highly appreciated by passengers.

After Tunis, in this ranking, come the new airport of Algiers, those of Johannesburg, Cape Town and Addis Ababa.

Besides, the survey has selected Singapore as the best airport worldwide. Findings are based on travellers' votes during the period spanning between last March and September, comments sent to the site during last year and the information provided by airports on their installations.
