RABAT- Morocco’s economy grew by 15.2% in the second quarter this year, compared with a contraction of 14.2% in same period last year, the planning agency said on Thursday.

This growth was achieved on the back of a 18.6% rise in agricultural activities and a 14.8% increase in non-agricultural output, the agency said in a report.

It expected Morocco’s economy to grow 5.8% this year after a contraction of 6.3% in 2020 under the combined impact of the coronavirus pandemic and drought.
