The Finance Ministry announced the creation of a finance academy which will be a training centre for competences and experts in finance and public management. In a communiqué made public on Friday, the Ministry points out that the academy, to be created by virtue of a decree which is under publication, will guarantee a training that complies with international standards and will adopt an innovative strategy in matters of financial instruction.
The objective is "to face the challenges posed by the national and international context and meet the horizons to be opened up to new Tunisia," the same source specifies.
The academy aims at training a new generation of administrators capable of keeping abreast of the development pace that post-Revolutionary Tunisia will be living through and will contribute to boosting the Tunisian economy.
The finance academy will operate as part of an international network through a constant exchange of high-level experts and trainers.
E-learning technique will be set up to help a larger number of the ministry's executives attend courses and undertake researches.
Regional centres will also be set up gradually in order to bring the academy's services closer to the executives and staff members living in the interior regions.
