Dubai May 22nd, 2012 (WAM)-- Khalifa Al Nuaimi, a student of the College of Business Sciences at Zayed University (ZU) in Dubai has organised in and out of the campus presentations, workshops, and training programmes on the latest teaching methods for Science and Mathematics.

Al Nuaimi was the first Emirati to be selected to participate in the NASA Programme.

His efforts follow preparations and qualifications he had received through the scholarship he won to study Mathematics, Science, and Technology at NASA within the framework of annual Boeing Programme in which 100 teachers representing 13 countries were selected to take part in the international programme.

Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice President of Zayed University expressed his gratitude to the efforts and ambitions of Al Nuaimi, who is also a teacher at Al Ain Excellence Model School, and continues his studies at College of Business Sciences.

He referred to the directives by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and President of ZU, and support to innovation and creativity.

Al Jassim praised Al Nuaimis scientific and practical study experience at NASA, which had benefited him so much, citing his influence on students whom he shares the knowledge he had acquired with.

For his part, Al Nuaimi thanked the Abu Dhabi Education Council, which nominated him to the NASA programme, indicating that he had organised 15 symposiums and workshops.
