Zawawi Trading Company (ZTC), the exclusive distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Oman, has once again achieved global standards in every category for its automotive divisions, following recent distributor retail standards (DRS) testing, conducted by Daimler Germany; ZTC also achieved equal recognition for its after-sales services.
Bernd Amann, general manager - after-sales said, "This year the global standard qualification for both Zawawi's Mercedes- Benz sales and after-sales service is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees who always provide commendable services across all divisions in-line with Daimler Germany's specifications."
ZTC has been Mercedes- Benz's distributor in Oman for the past 40 years and throughout this time ZTC has evolved to become one of the most trusted and respected automotive dealerships in the Sultanate as a result of its continually adapting services in line with stringent Mercedes-Benz global standards.
The latest focus of ZTC's services is its aftersales division; especially with the recent launch of its aftersales facility in Haima together with round-the-clock mobile workshops to service Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles.
"ZTC is dedicated to aftersales services just as much as our sales initiatives because it is where we start building a longterm relationship with our customers and the standards need to be en par if not better than the global standards set by Mercedes- Benz's headquarters in Germany. Our expanding presence is making us more accessible to our customers and this is utimately our goal - to be within reach and to provide excellent and efficient service," added Amann.
The new Haima facility boasts the highest levels of maintenance using certified technicians and genuine spare parts across Daimler's multi-brand products, providing a convenient and efficient solution for both private and fleet customers using the Haima transit route.
The service centre also has state-of-the-art facilities to match the product requirements.
This includes site assistance for customers, courtesy car scheme, mobile workshop for on-the-spot attention, servicing at the customer's location for major fleet owners, dropoff service to customers leaving their vehicles at the workshop.
Currently, ZTC is present in Muscat, Salalah and Haima, and plans to open a new facility in Sohar in 2013.
