Sanaa - Yemeni Minister of Human Rights Horiyya Mashhour praised steps taken by Jordan in the human rights field.
At a meeting with Jordan's Ambassador to Yemen Suleiman Al Ghuweir, the minister voiced her country's willingness to benefit from Jordan's experience in the human rights domain, adding Yemen intends to establish an independent human rights body.
The ambassador stressed Jordan's readiness to provide assistance to Yemen in the human rights domain, adding the embassy will contact concerned authorities in the Kingdom to help in rehabilitating Yemenis who have been injured during the political turmoil in Yemen last year.
