KUWAIT -- The organizing committee of the Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Informatics Research Award announced on Saturday the names of the 20 winners.

Award Secretary, Engineer Bassam Al-Shimmiri, told KUNA that 279 out of 1914 participants had the rights answers, and of these 20 winners were selected in a draw.

The names of the winners are: Yousef Adnan Abdulnabi, Shireefa Behbahani, Muneera Mujeb Al-Ajmi, Nadi Ouda, Kitam Abdulraheem, Raja Saad Johar, Manal Maki Al-shawaf, Hawra Al-Jazzaf, Dalal Al-Harbi, Rashed Al-Hadrani, Razan Al-Jaiaan, Bisheer Al-Halabi, Omar Al-Sultan, Khalid Al-Azmi, Mohammad Sami Abdu, Shahad Al-Ibrahim, Samah Ghaleb, Sulaiman Fawaz, Nour Abu Saleh, and Huda Al-Enizi.

"The organizing committee will host an honorary ceremony for the winners on Monday at the 'Leaders Training Center' in Khaldiya, under the auspices of Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, as well as Sheikha Awrad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Education Assistant Undersecretary for Student Activities Duaij Al-Duaij," he added.

Al-Shimmiri praised the role of Ministry of Education for supporting such research competitions.
The award is KD 200 for each winner, presented by Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The awards will come to a total of KD 5000.
