DOHA: Vodafone Qatar has launched the trendy Motorola Flipout mobile as part of their latest mobile brand services.
"Vodafone is pleased to launch the creatively designed Motorola Flipout," said Daniel Horan, Vodafone Qatar's Commercial Director. "With the introduction of this new smartphone, customers can be sure that Vodafone will continue to introduce new and innovative products to appeal to all the people of Qatar."
The Motorola Flipout is available at all Vodafone retail stores at the price of 1399QR, which includes a Welcome Pack, Freedom 35 account and 300MB of free mobile internet.
The Motorola Flipout stands out with its unique 2.8 inch touch screen that rotates on a swivel hinge to expose a hidden 5 row QWERTY keyboard. The phone is also highly customisable, with six different interchangeable covers for added personalization. 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity ensures that customers are always connected, no matter where they are.
With 2GB of included microSD memory (expandable up to 32GB), there is ample room to store photos and videos taken using the 3mp camera, with plenty of space left for audio files and other applications. The battery allows for almost 6 hours of continuous talk time.
It runs on the Android platform, which gives customers access to the massive suite of applications available on the Android market.
The phone also includes Motorola's trademarked MOTORBLUR software, which securely manages contacts and messages. MOTORBLUR syncs the users friends on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter, phone contacts, and messages with continuous updates and backups.
