KUWAIT, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- US health experts are flowing here to assess and develop medical services in the country, a Kuwaiti official said here Sunday.

Dr. Khalid al-Sahlawi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, made the remark to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following a meeting with a visiting US Temple University delegation.

The visit aims to evaluate the health situation at a cancer center and a chest disease university, he said.

He added that they had discussed ways and means of bolstering and developing cooperation in the field of medical technology with a view to improving health services in Kuwait.

The US medical team will visit the Hussein Makki Jomaa Cancer Center and the chest hospital, al-Sahlawi added.

This is the fourth US delegation that visits Kuwait to evaluate health services and set guidelines for revamping medical centers in the country.
