DUBAI The Dubai-based Mega Properties is launching today the sales campaign for its Marina Sail Tower project that offers 164 apartments in Dubai Marina on a freehold basis for UAE nationals and expatriates.
Marina Sail Tower is part of a projects taken up by third-party developers at Dubai Marina, being promoted by the Emaar Properties. Other ventures have been started by Dubai Islamic Bank and Damac.
The Dh100 million residential project is being developed and promoted by Mega Properties, a sister company of the Sharjah-based Continental Real Estate chaired by Walid Al Mallahi. Ibrahim Selehi, a UAE national, is the owner of the property designed by Khatib & Alami.
The campaign for the Mega Properties' flagship property is being carried out by a sales team located at Marina Club of Le Meridien Mina Siyahi.
Mock setups of the rooms for the one, two and three bedroom apartments, interactive presentations, and a model provide prospective buyers information about the Marina Sail Tower.
Mega Properties officials said the public response has been overwhelming. The Marina Sail Tower sales office is open from 10am to 8pm. Jeyran T Afandiyeva, marketing manager of Mega Properties, said: "The project has been conceptualised and being developed fully by us. Piling work for the project is scheduled to start within the next two weeks and the project is due for completion in December 2004. We have already sold quite a few apartments before the formal launch of our sales campaign."
She said Mega Properties has been considering taking up three more residential projects at Dubai Marina. The 22-storey Marina Sail Tower features one, two and three bedroom apartments. Fifteen per cent of the money has been paid at the time of signing the agreement, 15 per cent on completion of the first floor, and 15 per cent thereafter on completion of the sixth, 11th, 16th and 21st floors. The final 10 per cent is to be paid on completion.
