ISTANBUL, March 4 (Reuters) - Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Tuesday.

The lira TRYTOM=D3 traded at 2.2252 against the dollar at 0552 GMT from 2.2245 late on Monday.

The Istanbul share index .XU100 fell 2.18 percent to 61,189.15 points, in line with the wider emerging markets index

.MSCIEF , which was down 1.58 percent. The index is hovering near its lowest levels since July 2012.

The 10-year benchmark bond yield TR270923T0=IS rose to 10.69 percent from 10.51 percent on Friday.
