TUNISIAONLINENEWS- A Tunisian investor, Mohamed Hedi Mejai a former executive director at the International Investment Bank in Bahrain, recently launched a bank in Dubai, reported the Tunisian website leaders.com.tn. The bank named "Oryx Capital" is located at the Liberty House in the Dubai International Financial Center. It offers a broad range of financial and banking services, ranging from private banking, asset management and joint ventures.
The launching ceremony will be held on October 11 under the auspices of Mr. Ahmed Hamid Attaya, the Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Mohamed Hedi Mejai took part in numerous operations in Tunisia, especially during the opening of the Artes stock listing (Renault) at the Tunis stock exchange.
Very active in the financial markets, he started his banking career with job assignments in UK and France and then spent several years with the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB). He was a founding team member of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) and the Injazat Technology Fund and was speaker in many international events awhere he spoke on Islamic banking and venture capital.
