MUSCAT -- The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has signed up with Towell-take Solutions (TTS), a leader in ERP solutions, for the implementation of the financial system through TIMICS nXg -- complete integrated ERP system. Dr Anchan CK, CEO of Towell-take Solutions, said: "We are glad to be associated with TRA a government body which aims to promote the development of infrastructure and attract foreign investment into the telecom sector. We are sure our system will add value to the growth TRA is envisaging."
TIMICS nXg is a 3 tier architecture, web based ERP system that works on Oracle 10g platform. With 22 new features as compared to its predecessor, TIMICS nXg's underlying architecture combines data, business processes, and reporting/analytics into one holistic unit. Dr Anchan further added: "TIMICS nXg provides a lot of information to the management at their fingertips (management dashboards), it has ease of use, enhanced security and many more features."
Towell-take Solutions a joint venture between W J Towell & Co and Take Solutions, specialises in core areas, that is, a complete integrated ERP system with Middle East flavour TIMICS nXg, full suite of SCM (supply chain management) solutions, hand-held mobility solutions and RFID solutions. Being part of the SEI-CMMI Level 5 body, Towell-take Solutions conducts businesses in nine countries with more than 150 Fortune 1000 customers.
