Tameer Chief Executive Officer Ghassan Sakhnini has resigned from his post, citing personal reasons.

He confirmed to Emirates Business that he has submitted his resignation and will leave in two months. Sakhnini is the third chairman to resign in 13 months. In September 2008, Abdullah Al Haj Ali resigned, while Tameer founder and chairman Omar Ayesh resigned in May last year.

Earlier this month, he told this paper the developer was re-evaluating some of its projects in the light of the slowdown in the real estate sector.
