MUSCAT -- In adding yet another feather to its hat, Towell Auto Centre (TAC) recently received award for 'Omanisation' from the Oman Ministry of Manpower. TAC was chosen for the award for its exceptional track record and achievements in the recruitment and training of Omanis at all levels in the company.
"We at TAC are honoured to receive this prestigious award and are very pleased that our efforts towards Omanisation have been recognised by the Ministry of Manpower. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos has called on the private sector to increase its Omanisation initiatives and we feel truly privileged to have our efforts in trying to fulfil HM's vision recognised this 40th National Day", said Riyadh Ali Sultan, General Manager, TAC.
He continues, "It is our firm belief that Omanisation does not just stop at merely employing Omani staff, but also lies in constantly training and developing them, tapping their inert talents, and helping them to develop a career. And, in continuing to do our bit in recruiting Omanis at all levels in our organisation we would like to take the opportunity to welcome everyone who is looking at a potential career with us to apply."
As one of the leading automobile distributors in the Sultanate, TAC takes corporate social responsibility (CSR) very seriously, and as part of its many CSR initiatives in the Sultanate, TAC is sponsoring students from several low income family groups to complete their graduation in collaboration with Modern College of Business and Science. TAC also provides students with internship trainings, and aims to be regarded as one of the most preferred employers in the Sultanate.
