Khartoum - Minister of Agriculture Adel Safar on Thursday discussed with his Sudanese counterpart Mohammad al-Amin Issa aspects of cooperation between Syria and Sudan in the agrarian field.
Talks during the meeting dealt with exchanging technical experiments and how to making use of the Syrian expertise in the field of combating plant epidemics in addition to exchanging agrarian products and goods.
Syrian Minister of Irrigation Nader al-Buni met his Sudanese counterpart Kamal Ali Mohammad and the two sides discussed mechanisms of cooperation in the fields of lands' reclamation, water dams and the possibility of establishing joint company for water projects.
For his part, Minister of Health Maher Houssami conferred with Sudanese Health Minister Tabita Butrus the possibility of medical cooperation between the two countries and expanding it to include medicines, general and cardiac surgeries and health care.
Mrs. Butrus expressed her country's desire to develop ties between Health ministries in both countries and to benefit from the Syrian expertise in different medical specialties, particularly in cardiac surgeries, emergencies and higher medical specialties.
The meetings between Syrian and Sudanese ministers come in the framework of Syrian Premier's Ottri visit to Sudan.
