Damascus - the Seventh Syrian-Iranian follow up and business development committee kicked off in Damascus Tuesday.
Minister Of Economy and Trade ,head of the Syrian side to the meetings Amer Husni Lutfi said the committee will work to find appropriate solutions to some obstacles for Iranian companies work in Syria ,and exchange ideas about Syrian-Iranian economic cooperation development and increase trade exchange.
Minister Of Economy and Trade called for an evaluation for Syrian-Iranian trade agreement pact, which came into force in February and , the pact's effects on increasing trade exchange ,stressing that the committee will continue looking for new ideas which contribute to upgrading economic, commercial and investment relations between the two countries.
Iranian Minister of housing and urban development Muhamed Saeedi-Kia stressed during the committee meetings the importance of developing the two countries' economic relations to upgrade to the Excellent political relations, hailing the major facilities given by the Syrian government for Iranian industrial projects in Syria ,especially car industry.
Saeedi-Kia said that trade exchange is still less than the two countries expectations and the committee is still working on appropriate solutions to remove obstacles to increase trade exchange between the two countries.
he called on Iranian companies in Syria to implement the highest standards at work and as soon as required.
