DAMASCUS - President Bashar al-Assad received at al-Rawda Palace Sunday Ayatollah imam Khomeini's grandson Hasan Khomeini, Director of Ayatollah Khomeini's legacy institution and an accompanying delegation.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the friendly relations between the two countries and activities of the institution.

Iranian Ambassador to Syria Mohammed Hasan Akhtari  attended the meeting.
