KARBALA: A Swiss company expressed on Wednesday desire to implement projects in different sectors, including agriculture, energy and housing sectors, deputy chairman of the Karbala council said.
"The company wanted to implement several projects in agricultural, housing sectors, including the establishment of a 60,000 units in a region in eastern Karbala," Engineer Nassief al-Khatabi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"The local government and the reconstruction commission will study these projects," he added.
Karbala is 108 km south of Baghdad.
