Muscat - Sundus Investments Projects LLC, pioneers in mixeduse development in the Middle East, on Wedneday announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rotana Hotel Management Co to develop a four-star hospitality complex at Airport Heights in Bousher.
According to a press release, the launch of the property comes as part of Sundus Investments' ambition to shape a series of developments that will significantly complement the hospitality landscape in the region. Sundus Rotana is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2015. Mohammed Mahfood Saad al Ardhi, chairman of Sundus Investments, said, "In a growing economy such as Oman, tourism is an emerging sector requiring huge investments.

Guest rooms at Sundus Rotana will span across four floors, ranging from standard to suite, making the hotel an attractive proposition for both the leisurely and corporate guest. Serving as a distinctive component, the lobby level of the facility will feature a shopping avenue retailing a comprehensive mix of brands ranging from fashion accessories to jewellery and much more.
The property will additionally host a wide choice of fine dining options, a ballroom, one executive board room and seven conference rooms fitted out with up-to-date audio-visual equipment. Leisure facilities will include a well-appointed spa, swimming pool, a full-fledged fitness centre, in addition to steam, jacuzzi, sauna and massage rooms.
