Dubai Properties will hand over to buyers the 36 residential towers that comprise the Dh7.3 billion Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) between March and May, the company said in a statement yesterday.
The delivery of 6,500 apartments will take place over a three-month period to ensure "customised services" for each resident, the company said.
Idama, Dubai Properties' facilities management company, will supervise the delivery of the apartments and will be responsible for ongoing management, maintenance and administration of JBR, the statement said.
As part of the delivery process, an appointment will be scheduled with each homeowner for the handover of their respective apartments.
The project includes components such as an off-site district cooling system and a central automatic waste management and disposal system.
Dubai Properties, which is a member of Dubai Holding, has also upgraded the adjacent beach road, turning it into a 1.7-kilometre high street for pedestrians, with walkways and fountains.
The single-phase JBR development project has been divided into six zones: Shams (sun), Amwaj (waves), Rimal (sands), Bahar (sea), Sadaf (shells) and Murjan (coral reef).
Four hotel towers and a beachfront shopping boulevard - The Walk - will be launched in 2007
