The head of South Korea's consulate office to the Kurdistan Region and Koyka agency Kim Yong Hyun began his work today in Erbil.

Hyun in meeting with the head of foreign relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa said: "I believe the Kurdistan Region is on a correct path towards success, boosting economic and community development in all sectors.

Mustafa said: "The South Korean government through Zaitoun team, Koyka agency, the South Korean consulate office to the region and the Korean embassy to Baghdad has carried out many projects and activities," according to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The head of the Koyka agency said the agency's work in the region includes carrying out public service projects, starting training courses, the provision of scholarships for students and providing equipment for government directorates.
