DOHA: The third live session in Enterprise Qatar's (EQ) highly popular webinar-based SME Evolution Program will be held on Saturday, May 14. Focusing on leadership, this session is targeted at business owners and general managers and will be delivered in both Arabic and English.
EQ has enlisted the help of entrepreneurial role model, Mohammed Al Ibrahim, Co-Founder & MD of Semsar Group, to bring this important topic to life. Starting his company from scratch, Mohammed's business looks set to become a shining example to all small businesses.
As one of EQ's first major initiatives the SME Evolution Program is aimed at improving the country's innovation ecosystem. A free and comprehensive web-based training programme for SMEs, the programme is organized with Potential, EQ's partner and programme designer.
Enterprise Qatar Deputy Project Director, Noora Al Mannai, said: "Through the SME Evolution Program, Enterprise Qatar is spearheading a new phase of enterprise development to create a more diversified knowledge-based economy in Qatar."
"The Program is an initiative that brings together Qatar's innovators and entrepreneurs to share first-hand information on how to become next-generation business leaders," she said.
"Introducing an Arabic component to the programme in this third session underlines our commitment to broaden our target base, reaching out to as many aspiring entrepreneurs as possible," Al Mannai said.
Al Ibrahim said of his participation that a future partnership with Enterprise Qatar will help CarSemsar.com realise its vision to become the leading e-commerce/internet company in this region. "We have developed a strong brand and we hope to provide young Qatari entrepreneurs with an all-essential digital platform to grow their business ideas as part of the 'Semsar group'. Qatar is a small market and both leadership and collaboration are key," he said.
