TUNIS - "Minister of the Interior Lofti Ben Jeddou had a telephone conversation with his Libyan counterpart Salah Mazek as part of co-ordination between the two countries on the situation in the border crossing of Ras Jedir, Ben Guerdane," Spokesperson for the Interior Ministry Mohamed Ali Laroui told TAP Sunday.

The Libyan interior minister is expected next Tuesday in Tunis to discuss the situation in the border crossing of Ras Jedir and ways to re-open it, Laroui indicated.
The situation in Ras Jedir and its re-opening was the focus of a telephone conversation held Sunday morning between Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki and President of the Libyan General National Congress Nouri Abou Sahmin.
